Teaching assistant dealing with Challenging Behaviour

  • Based in Enfield, North London
  • Full time - Long term
  • Dealing with SEN, challenging behaviour

Remedy are looking for a experienced Teaching Assistant to support students in a school with challenging behaviour, this school supports students with SEMH and challenging behaviour.

These students have SEMH which is Social Emotional Mental Health, which means these students can find it hard to focus and consecrate in lessons. This is were you would step in to help support the teacher and encourage students into their education and support them emotionally.

Some students come from broken homes or violence so can find it hard to express their emotions, we are looking for nurturing passionate teaching assistant who are willing to help these students.

The role is based in Key stage 2 dealing 1:1 with a student with EBD.

The school is located in Enfield with easy transport links.

You will need the below to be considered for this role:

  • Clear up to date DBS
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant with challenging students
