SEN Teaching Assistant - London

*** SEN Teaching Assistant position available Full Time Position

***London based roles

***Starting immediately

***£75-80 per day

Remedy Education are currently looking for a strong and committed learning support assistant (LSA) to work in a Secondary pupil referral unit in South West London. In this role, you will be required to support the class teacher with the delivery of lesson material and behavioural management of pupils.

Person Specification- The successful candidate must have a proven track record of working with EBD and must be experienced in managing and improving such behaviour. You will provide education and care of the highest quality.

You will provide the drive to succeed and establish fast and friendly working relationships. You will have the ability to motivate those around you and a true understanding of SEN. You will be able to take on the burden of extra responsibility and be a fast learner and make the most of your position

As a learning support specialist, you will: support and facilitate pupil's academic, social and personal development as well as encouraging pupils to develop their social skills. This will include working with pupils within small groups AND/OR on an individual basis as well as supporting, and collaborating with, the class teacher to facilitate pupils complete access to the curriculum.
