Teaching Assistant - Outstanding School - Lewisham, South East London

An amazing and Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary SEN school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant with previous Special Educational Needs / Behaviour Support Worker experience for an ASAP start.

Q - Have you previously been a Behaviour Support Worker assisting students with SEMH, challenging behaviour and/or communication & learning difficulties?

Q - Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant for secondary students with Autism (ASC)?

JOB DETAILS

  • SEN Teaching/Behaviour Support Assistant
  • 11-18 year old students - KS3/KS4
  • Supporting a variety of behavioural SEN: ASC, SEMH, ADHD, ADHS, ODD
  • Delivering supportive & engaging SEN interventions
  • Working alongside the Class Teachers and permanent onsite support professionals
  • ASAP Start - Long-Term - Full Time
  • £70 - £90 per day

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have a University Degree - 1st Class or a 2:1, ideally
  • Previous experience as a SEN TA / Behaviour Support Worker is required!
  • MUST be resilient, empathetic, committed and personable
  • Commitment towards this SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is key
