We are currently seeking an experienced SENCO to join our supportive team and to continue to drive the improvement of SEND provision across school. Whilst we have a lower than average proportion of children on the SEND register, some needs are significant and experience of the following may be useful:
* Sound knowledge and experience of the process of EHCP and implementation of the outcomes of the plan
* Working with outside agencies and professionals
* Good knowledge and experience of speech and language
* Easily approachable and able to communicate effectively with parents
Are you looking to widen your SENCO experience in an alternative setting?
Would you relish the opportunity to gain further experience as a senior leader?
Are you ready to coach others as a skilled and reflective practitioner?
This post would suit an experienced SENCO, seeking to gain further professional development in a different setting. Opportunities for part time working or secondment will be given serious consideration.
Closing Date and Shortlisting: Monday 19th March 2018
Please send your updated CV to Carly Walters at Remedy Education.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
We promote diversity and want a workforce which reflects the population of Leeds .
