**School for the Deaf - SW London - Residential Work - BSL Level 2 -- Good Travel Links - SEN - Small Groups - Training and CPD Opportunities - Competitive Rates of Pay**

A long term opportunity has arisen within an outstanding Residential and Day School situated in South West London. We are looking to appoint a Level 2 certified BSL mentor/support worker for their residential provision for deaf and language impaired students aged 10-19.

We are looking for a candidate that has excellent communication skills and knowledge of HI, communication difficulties and mental health issues. Someone who is able to promote the physical, intellectual, emotional and social well being of the students. Delivering and maintaining a high level of care, and promoting a positive and pleasant environment.

You will be acting as an appropriate role model for the students and staff so knowledge and experience with residential school legislations are desirable but will receive a full induction on start date.

Please note: This job will include shift work including evening work and one sleep in shift which you will be paid for.
