Student Counsellor

Location: Dulwich

Hours: 36 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time only)

Actual Salary: £19,698.38 - £23,785.65

Start Date: September 2018

Remedy Education are seeking to appoint a Student Counsellor to provide a counselling service to specific students across two schools in Dulwich.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally have BACP accreditation. You will be an excellent communicator, building effective relationships with staff, students and parents / carers and have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

This is a supportive, therapeutic service where students are referred by the Senior Leadership Teams. The successful candidate will join our Inclusion Team to provide a counselling service for the most vulnerable students aged 11 - 19, providing timely and targeted sessions to meet the needs of students.

The successful candidate will join our Inclusion Team and report to the Deputy Head Teachers. You will have the drive and intent to secure school improvement; have a creative and innovative approach and an ability to embrace and promote change; be enthusiastic and determined to support the schools in their drive for continuous improvement.
