SEN Teaching Assistant - Enfield - North London

  • Long term to permanent
  • Full time
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8.30am to 3.30/4.00pm
  • £80-85 a day
  • Based in Enfield
  • September 2019 start

We are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2 with autism and various other learning difficulties. You will be working within the classroom supporting the class Teacher with the daily running's of the school. You will be supporting small groups of children as well as 1:1 students with SEN, you must have experience working with children with SEN such as ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviour.

Main Duties:

  • Building a positive rapport with students
  • Planning and differentiating class work for pupils
  • Following individual plans set for pupils
  • Supporting pupils on a one to one basis
  • Working alongside other members of staff; class teacher, SENCO etc

Minimum requirements

  • Must have a Teaching Assistant or Degree qualification
  • At least 1+years' experience working in a UK school
  • At least 1+years' experience working with SEN
