Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to work within an Adults Mental Health Team based in East London.

Job Purpose

• The post holder will directly manage 4 Team Managers, 1 Safeguarding Lead and 1 Principal Social Worker.
• The post holder has a staffing budget responsibility for £9.6 million.
• Must have significant experience of managing and delivering Mental Health Services. Experience of managing change programmes and managing resources within budget.
• Needs to be a skilled leader, with the ability to negotiate and influence others and work in partnership with stakeholders and our health partners.
• Ability to manage budgets effectively and ensure the delivery of performance management on time and to budget.
• Overall responsibility for a Mental Health team of 64 staff, 5 teams broken down into Mental Health Access and Assessment Team (including Enablement), Recovery Team, Review and Move on Team, AMHP Team and Older People's Team.
• Significant knowledge and experience in managing and delivery Health and Adult Social Care Services, specifically Mental Health Services.
• Management / partnership working knowledge and experience in a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
• Specialist knowledge of Social Care governance underpinned by theory and experience.
• Extensive Mental Health management and knowledge, to include Care Act 2014 and Mental Health Act.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
