Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to work in a Looked After Children's Team (LAC) for a Local Authority based in Essex.

Job Purpose

This is a dynamic, supportive and friendly team that works with children in care, where care proceedings are in progress and with children subject to plans for adoption. Keeping children safe and achieving permanency for them is at the fore-front of our team's work ethos.

Are you passionate about court work and adoption? You will have a high standard of undertaking assessments, court statements, care plans and giving oral evidence. You will have experience of managing dynamics and complex caseloads, whilst fulfilling our statutory responsibilities and maximising our use of resources.
You will hold sound knowledge of legislation, recent case law and policies in respect of looked after children.
