Job description
Senior Practitioner X2, Family Support Team, East London, up to £35ph
If you are a Senior Practitioner with a background working with a Family Support Team, we want to hear from you.
Main duties include:
- Undertaking Pre-Birth Assessments under Section 47 of the Children's Act of 1989
- Conducting home visits for monitoring purposes to promote the welfare of children. Conducting home visits, including school visits to safeguard children adhering to statutory guidelines under the above stated plans
- Liaising and working closely with partnership agencies to support the families
- Completing Court Reports for Private Law Proceedings such as Section 7 and 37 Reports
- Undertaking parenting capacity assessments
- Completing Child in Care reports in preparation of Child in Care Conferences
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- ASYE complete
- Car driver/owner essential
- Substantial experience within a Family Support Team
