Senior Practitioner X2, Family Support Team, East London, up to £35ph

If you are a Senior Practitioner with a background working with a Family Support Team, we want to hear from you.

Main duties include:

• Undertaking Pre-Birth Assessments under Section 47 of the Children's Act of 1989
• Conducting home visits for monitoring purposes to promote the welfare of children. Conducting home visits, including school visits to safeguard children adhering to statutory guidelines under the above stated plans
• Liaising and working closely with partnership agencies to support the families
• Completing Court Reports for Private Law Proceedings such as Section 7 and 37 Reports
• Undertaking parenting capacity assessments
• Completing Child in Care reports in preparation of Child in Care Conferences

Essential requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
• Registration with Social Work England
• ASYE complete
• Car driver/owner essential
• Substantial experience within a Family Support Team
