Job description
The successful candidate will hold previous experience of supervising qualified staff, and will possess the skills required to further develop a team of creative Occupational Therapy practitioners and support staff, and to contribute to preventative and asset based projects to promote wellbeing in the borough of Southend-on-Sea.
Essential skills include the ability to assess the needs and strengths of Adults and Children and recommend a range of interventions including safe moving and handling, major adaptations and equipment in the community setting.
It is essential that you have a qualification in Occupational Therapy (Diploma/Bachelor/Master's degree), registration with the HCPC and a commitment to the standards and ethics of the College of Occupational Therapists to be effective in this role.
