Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to work within a Local Authority within East London.

You will be required to work across a number of teams, including the Initial Assessment Team and the Reablement Service

Job Requirements

Along with a professional OT qualification and HCPC registration, you will possess a firm knowledge of current policy and practice and the ability to apply these to the job for which you are applying. You should have knowledge of current developments in relevant legislation, national guidance and frameworks and how to access more detailed information when necessary, including the local authority's responsibility to safeguard adults at risk.

You will be working with older people and younger adults leading on Care Act assessments, support planning and case management. Employing a strengths-based approach, you will be creative in your thinking and be person-centred in your work. You will be an established clinician with excellent communication skills, advanced assessment knowledge and a sound clinical background that will support you to liaise effectively with patients, and other stakeholders.
