Location: Greenwich
Salary: £150-£200
Job Type: Long Term, will go permanent for the right candidate

Start date: September 2018

A thriving school based within the London borough of Greenwich looking to recruit a SENCO ASAP. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an ambitious SENCO to become part of a highly successful department and school!

The successful SENCO will be available to join this school on a full-time basis starting in September.

The SENCO's responsibilities will be:

• Effective day-to-day operation of the School's SEN policy.
• Review the SEN policy and Local Offer annually.
• Coordinating provision for children with SEN.
• Advising on the graduated approach to providing SEN support (Plan, Do, Review, Assess).
• Proactively seeking additional funding as appropriate to meet student needs.
• Advising on the deployment of the School's delegated budget and other resources to meet
• students' needs effectively

The ideal SENCO will have;

• National SENCO Award.
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Strong behaviour and management skills.
• Excellent subject knowledge.
• Good understanding of the national curriculum.
