Job Information

  • ASD Teaching Assistants in Lambeth, South East London

  • Co-Teach students in the classroom (Classroom support teacher)
  • £75 - £85 per day

ASD Teaching Assistants (TAs) will support teachers in a Mainstream Primary School and will experience working with children who face difficulties or challenges within the classroom. TAs will need to build rapport with children in the classroom in order to support the children in the schools. The children will become familiar with the TAs they are supported by as the students can become unsettled with frequent changes of ASD TAs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working with children that have ADHD and Autism as well as experience dealing with challenging behaviour in the classroom.
  • Experience working with SEN children (ideal but the above is necessary)
