Remedy Education are currently looking for people with TA or Support work experience that have a passion for working with children and young adults.

We work with several Special Needs Schools across Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Greenwich to provide them with short and long term cover working with children with a variety of different needs.

Some of the children you will be supporting have a wide range of needs, including:

Autism - social difficulties, children may sometimes very quiet or non-verbal and need support interacting with other pupils.

Challenging behaviours - ADHD, EBD and other conditions that effect behaviour.

Personal care needs - assisting them with bathroom needs.

The role will require you to support with:

Small groups or 1:1 support;

Care needs;

Educational needs;

Outdoor education;

Sensory education;

and Phonics - speech, language and communication needs.

The positions we have available can be very flexible and you can pick and choose how many days you wish to work each week. There is normally a requirement to be available between the hours of 8.30-3.45pm on the days you wish to work.

If you would like more information about this post please contact Carly Walters at Remedy Education.

We have both short term posts and long term posts, as well as day to day cover available in special needs schools around the South London area.
