SEN Teaching Assistants needed
Southwark/Lewisham
To start Monday 29th October 2018
Salary: £70 - £85 per day

Are you a great Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant who has experience supporting children with a range of SEND's? Are you someone from a Social Care background or even a new Graduate looking to secure experience in a Primary School in the area? Then we want to hear from you!

Remedy Education are currently looking for a friendly, fun and enthusiastic TA/LSA who has experience working with SEND pupils either as part of small groups or on a one to one basis.

These opportunities run from Monday 29th October across the academic year and the salary on offer is £70 - £85 per day depending on experience.

The successful SEN TA / SEN LSA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment.

The ideal candidates will have experience supporting some or all of the following:

ADHD
Asperger Syndrome
Autism (ASD)
Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)
Challenging Behaviour
Dyslexia
Epilepsy
Global Development Delay (GDD)
Hearing Impairment (HI)
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)
Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Speech and Language Disorder
Visual Impairment (VI)

We are looking for:
The schools we work closely with are looking for someone who can support their SEND pupils with a range of needs from Autism to SLD. Therefore, no matter how large or small your experience with SEND is we would like to hear from you.

We want Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants who can support children in a variety of lessons.
A committed professional, who has previous experience working with children. Experience with special needs is desirable.

A lively and caring individual who will support groups of children and act as a 1:1 support when needed.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.

You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
