To be considered for this SEN/PMLD Teaching Assistant you will need to be an eager candidate who has previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role and at least received a 2:1 in your degree. As an SEN/PMLD Teaching Assistant you mush have the ability to show an empathetic approach to learning, nurturing your pupils in their development and understanding of education.

This a SEN/PMLD Teaching Assistant post will see you support the development of all special needs young adults and in order to put forward a consistent educational message to the adults you will be communicating with the parents. The social development of SEN students is of the utmost importance, this is why you will be expected to mentor your pupils.
