Job description

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work within KS2. The position may involve working with a specific child or group, as well as supporting other children in the class with their learning. Part of the hours will also be supporting the children at lunchtime. The candidate should be calm and caring and able to make a dedicated contribution to sensitively supporting children's needs. Experience of working with SEN children (particularly Autistic) would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with students with special educational needs either in groups or providing targeted individual support.

Must have strong literacy & numeracy skills as well as a willingness to be flexible.
All successful candidates will be required to undergo safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure.
