SEN Teaching Assistant Job (SEN TA Jobs) | Primary School | South East London | ASAP and September 2019

You will be working in a primary school in Southwark who are looking for an experienced SEN TA to join their supportive team of staff and an Ofsted rating of Outstanding.

The role will require you to work in within the class supporting children with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) other learning needs. You will be providing the children with a caring and nurturing environment in order for the children to increase their confidence in verbal and written English but also supporting the child to further their academic ability alongside their peers.

This is a challenging but rewarding role so it is essential that you have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and working on a one-to-one basis. It is essential that you possess character traits of being calm and patient due to the nature of the role.

Key points of the position:

• Long term to permanent position
• ASAP Start - this will also start in September if you couldn't start now
• £80-85 a day
• Full time
• Monday to Friday 8.30-3.30/4.00pm
• Based within a school in Southwark
