ASD/SEND Teaching Assistant - ASAP start

Are you looking for your next Teaching Assistant job? Prior experience working in a special needs setting is imperative, along with excellent behaviour management. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working 1:1 and small groups
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• A positive attitude to help children learn
• Be able to communicate effectively with the team and outside agencies
• Experience working with SEND children with severe learning disabilities and autism. We are looking for candidates to join our team who are keen to support children who have varying levels and elements of SEND. Reliance Education Services are currently working with a number of schools in London and the surrounding areas that regularly have both short-term and long-term opportunities for Teaching Assistants.

In order to be considered for this role, the Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants will need to meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum
• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
