The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is within a brilliant SEN school that I have the pleasure of working closely with. They are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has previous experience within SEN and someone who can work to inspire and achieve! Experience with PMLD students would be highly desirable and training with Hoisting and Manual Lifting is essential. The ideal candidate will have worked in a school with students that have a range of complex needs such as ASD and SLD. The role would require the candidate to be comfortable dealing with personal care, including toileting and feeding and also with restraining students. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you would be supporting the emotional, social and academic development of the students you work with to optimise learning and maximise comfort.

The School - SEN Teaching Assistant

The school is roughly a 20 minute walk from Loughton Station or there are also several buses you can get. They have roughly over 100 students, aged 3-19, within the school meaning there is lots of opportunity to help them reach their full potential. They have a fantastic team who can provide excellent training and support, regardless of whether you are employed on a permanent or temporary basis.
