Job description

Remedy Education are currently looking for a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 2 who has complex medical needs and Epilepsy. She can have several small seizes throughout the day so needs someone with her at all times.

Level 2 and above Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable however not essential. Training such as the below are also desirable;

  • Team Teach
  • NAPPI
  • MAPA
  • SENCo Award
  • Autism Awareness
  • SEND Code of Practice training
  • Safeguarding Children and Young People
  • Makaton and/or BSL
  • Hoist Training
  • Epilepsy Awareness

This is a long term role and will be starting in October 2018 until July 2019,
