An outstanding SEN school in Colchester is recruiting an experienced teaching assistant to start in September 2018.

Catering for 100 pupils aged 3-19 years old students have a statement of ASD and social and communication difficulties. As well as a varied curriculum, they also offer a number of therapies such as speech and language and art therapy.

The selected applicant will have previous SEN experience, especially with ASD and communication needs. You will be required to support students 1:1 within lessons. Knowledge of PECS and Makaton would be advantageous. You will have a caring, calm personality with a keen interest to progress in the field of SEN.

The school work incredibly hard to maintain their Ofsted grade, therefore they have high expectations of staff.
