In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you must be a willing to help students reach their full potential. SEN experience is highly valued, whether that be voluntary or paid. The school want graduates or experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who can quickly establish strong relationships and bring an abundant supply of enthusiasm.

To be successful in this SEN role you must be supportive, caring and have the ability to build a good relationships with the students you would be working with.

You will be working mainly on a one-on-one basis providing support for a child who has autism and communication difficulties. You will need to demonstrate a motivational and engaging manner throughout this role and be proactive and patient to ensure the students are fully supported.
