The Role - Experienced SEN Teacher

My client is hoping to appoint an Experienced SEN Teacher. The successful Experienced SEN Teacher must have experience teaching children with ASD and multiple learning difficulties. The successful Experienced SEN Teacher will have a caring and pastoral nature. You must be able to utilise confident behaviour management skills.
You will be working alongside the senior leadership team, to assure that all children achieve the best to their potential, managing 2 TAs who will support you with all daily activities. You will have to be able to plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans, to the children's interests and learning ability's.
They are looking for someone with knowledge & skills in using specialist systems e.g. Makaton, PECs and TEAM TEACH to support pupils. This role will suit an Experienced SEN teacher wanting to join a friendly new team.

The School - Experienced SEN Teacher

They offer education to children with ASD ages 5 - 11 years old. This school has just been refurbished, they have a state of the art resource unit, providing all members of staff with materials to give each child the best education. All classes have a maximum of 8 children in at any one time, you will find mixed age groups with the classes being determined by key stage. This school is easily accessed via public transport links.
