Job description

SEN Teacher In a Special School - PMLD - Lambeth South East London

A SEN school in Lambeth is looking for a full time PMLD teacher to lead a team of SEN TA's in the PMLD class.

This is an SEN Teacher role for someone with significant experience teaching young people with Complex or Profound Needs (PMLD). The role could turn permanent for the right person.

You will be required to plan and deliver lessons, monitor progress, write reports and differentiate your work to the individual needs of each pupil. You will need to work closely with your TA's and school management as well as outside agencies. Due to the levels of the pupils you will need lots of strategies & lessons in your tool box to promote engagement and progress on a sensory, communication, social, behavioural and academic basis. Ideally you will have QTS however candidates will be considered with alternative teaching qualifications and experience of teaching P-scales and the EYFS.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

This is a full time position with the option to go permanent with the school. You must have a clear DBS to be accepted for this role.

Please apply now or call Sophie at Remedy for more information.
