SEN Teacher - Secondary School - Stratford - September Start - Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive secondary school based in Stratford for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is confident supporting students with additional needs and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons within a structured secondary school environment.
The school is looking for somebody who can build strong relationships with students, support learning across a range of abilities, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom setting.
The Role:
- Teaching and supporting secondary-aged students with SEN
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and additional learning difficulties
- Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies
- Working closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals
- Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Contributing to EHCP targets and progress monitoring where required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching or supporting students with SEN
- Be confident working within a secondary school setting
- Have strong behaviour management skills
- Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
