Job description

An SEN school in East London is seeking an experienced SEND teacher to take on a permanent role in ASAP to take on a Teacher working with students with SLD and Autism.

Starts ASAP

*Must have QTS
*ASD/SLD experience gained in a special school
*Team Teach Trained (we will need to see the certificate)
*QTS
*Confident using Makaton/PECS
*Used to dealing with challenging behaviour

The ideal candidate will either be an experienced Teacher who is able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that keep pupils engaged in classwork and progressing in their academics. You will mainly be teaching Key Stages 2 to 4. You will need to have a good amount of experience preparing high achieving there are low behaviour issues, however the school is very multicultural and a great support with the staff team.

This school has a very strong academic reputation that has gone from strength to strength and shows the hard efforts of staff and pupils. The Special school fosters an inclusive ethos in which all pupils are eager to participate in the life of the school and contribute to the wider community.

Experience and knowledge of SEND pupils, the school is looking for a well-rounded practitioner who has a good sense of humour and likes working as part of a team.
