Here at Remedy Education we are in the process of registering outstanding SEN Teaching Assistants that are available for long term and day to day work.

We work very closely with a number of Primary schools and Secondary schools in Redbridge, Newham, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets, Barking and Dagenham & Havering. We are looking for local SEN Teaching Assistants that have a real passion for working with children.

The roles will be in mainstream schools and you will work alongside various SEN children including; challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD, Global Delay and Speech and Language requirements. This may involve 1:1 support and working in small groups. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will have the ability to drive motivate and inspire your pupils, whilst creating a nurturing environment.

The ideal SEN TA will have:

- Experience and an understanding of what is required when working with SEN children
- A passionate and empathetic personality and the ability to keep children motivated throughout lessons
- Patience and able to manage challenging behaviour
- The flexibility to work at short notice
- Experience with Makaton, PECS, Phonics/Team TEACCH trained would be desirable

We work alongside many schools within East London London to ensure their pupils are supported with candidates who have the relevant experience and skills. We have a variety of day to day and long term roles available, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working with schools in your local area.
