Currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant - Lewisham, South East London, Greenwich - £75 - £85 per day - ASAP start!

SEN Teaching Assistant must:

**SEN Teaching Assistant required
**Have previous experience working within SEN
**Working with ages 4-18
**Must have a current DBS Children and Adults disclosure
**Be able to travel Greenwich, South East London
**£75 - £85 per day, dependant on experience
**PECS/Makaton/Signalong/Team Teach or some form of restraint experience is preferred

The school is roughly a 15-minute walk from the nearest train station, Greenwich, there are also several buses you can get. The school offers a holistic approach to learning by integrating a range of creative therapies to help students who need their specialised input. It also has particular strengths in meeting speech language and communication needs allied to moderate to severe learning difficulties and autistic traits.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is within a fantastic Special Needs School that I have the pleasure of working closely with.

They are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience within the SEN sector, who can work to inspire and achieve! Experience with PMLD students would be highly desirable and training within Hoisting and Manual Handling is essential. The ideal candidate will have worked in a school with Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties, that has a desire to work with a more complex needs SEN school.

The role would require someone to be comfortable dealing with personal care, including toileting and feeding and with restraining students. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you would be supporting the emotional, social and academic development of the students you work with to ensure they reach their full potential!
