SEN Outreach Teacher

Are you an experienced primary teacher who is looking for a new exciting role?

Are you passionate about reaching pupils unable to access mainstream education due to anxiety or other mental health difficulties?

The we have the perfect role for you, here at Remedy we are looking for SEN outreach teachers who have access to a car for transport. You will have to be able to travel to Croydon on a daily basis, and hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

*Full time

*Qualified Teachers preferred

*Previous experience within a school and SEN

*Delivering core subject lessons to secondary pupils

*English, Maths, Science and other specialist subjects

*Providing additional learning opportunities to support academic achievement & attainment

*Identifying and accessing individual statements and education needs
*Liaising with external schools and agencies to facilitate continuity of the provision of education

*Interviewing now to start as soon as possible

You will need proven knowledge and experience of teaching or tutoring GCSE core subject's curriculum. SEN or Mental Health experience will also be beneficial, with an understanding of how to access and improve learning.

The ideal candidate will be a car driver, but the service is accessible via public transport. With a passion to reach out to students that have been affected by social, emotional or mental health needs. You will need to have a proactive and creative way of delivering your lessons, whilst identifying individual needs.

With a fantastic and supportive SLT, you will never feel alone and will always be adequately equipped for your lessons. Full induction on your first day will see you fully prepared and supported to teach to your full potential.
