SEN Design Technology Teacher

Location: Chigwell

Remedy Recruitment are currently seeking a Qualified Design Technology Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for delivering and planning lessons to GCSE standard and specialise in Wood Work. This role is to start as soon as possible on a long term basis.

The School:
The school is a new ASD focused Secondary school based in the heart of Chigwell their approach to teaching and learning is one of co-operation, mutual support, challenge, pride and joy. Assessment is an active part of every lesson and their students are given precise and immediate feedback to improve their learning. The school engage their young people in their lessons using accelerated approaches where they connect new knowledge to what they already know, make the lessons active, ensure students demonstrate what they have learnt and consolidate what they have learnt by teaching and explaining to their teachers and peers.

Requirements
  • Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEN children
  • Recent relevant experience
  • Excellent planning and preparation ability
  • Available full time
  • Recent school based references
