Behaviour Support (SEMH) - Secondary School - Greenwich - SEN Focus

Are you a highly reliable and hardworking Graduate who is interested in working with secondary school students who display challenging behaviour?

The Head Teacher at this specialist school in Greenwich is searching for an outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher for a Year 9 class.

The students at this school all experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and the role requires a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is resilient, hugely dependable, personable with excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work as part of a wider team of professionals.

SEMH Teaching Assistant - The Person:

  • 1st Class or 2:1 Graduate - Ideal for Psychology Graduates
  • MUST be highly-reliable, consistent, dedicated, personable and empathetic
  • Willing to engage in additional training & development opportunities
  • Previous experience is preferred, but is not essential

SEMH Teaching Assistant - The Role:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Working alongside the class Teacher to deliver intervention sessions
  • 1:1 and small groups with students who have SEMH difficulties
  • Full-time, long-term, £70 - £90 per day
  • ASAP start

SEMH Teaching Assistant - The School
