SEMH Teaching Assistant - Croydon

• Long term to permanent position
• Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30-3.30/4.00pm
• £80-90 a day
• Starting in September
• Based in SEMH school in Croydon

Remedy are looking for SEN/SEMH teaching assistants to join a SEMH school based in Croydon.

The roles vary from 1:1 assistant, general classroom assistant in our all boys school, the age ranges from primary to secondary. The students based in this school do have challenging behaviour and can have mental health, the students needs strong reliable mentor who are able to build relationships with.

These students have all be expelled from mainstream school and may have been involved with violence, these youths need help getting back on the right path and motivation to learn.

The ideal candidate will be committed and looking for a stable, long-term post as this Alternative Provision will be looking to help develop and grow the successful candidate. This is a rapidly growing organisation with a fantastic and supportive SLY with CPD opportunities available

Before applying for this role you would need to have experience in supporting SEN students and a background of working with SEMH would be favourable.
