SEMH School - Primary Teacher

I am currently seeking an experienced Primary Teacher for (SEMH) school in Essex

My school is a well facilitated school based in Essex with good transport links. The positions are to start ASAP on a long term to perm basis. This role could potentially be part time.

The ideal candidates will possess strong classroom/behaviour management skills, an engaging and encouraging approach and a nurturing manner.

You will need to be familiar with Year 6 SATS and working with complex needs. you will be leading small group intervention boosters to prepare our year 6 leavers for secondary school as well as supporting outcomes for our Looked After Children. You may also be asked to provide cover release across the school.


Key requirements:

** Specialist SEBD (Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) School

** SEBD experience

** Possess strong classroom/behaviour management skills

** Current DBS

** Must be able to deal with challenging behaviour

Job Specification:
The successful Teacher will have experience supporting challenging behaviour, have strong classroom and behaviour management and available to start ASAP. You will be resilient, show initiative and believe you have the potential to deliver outstanding outcomes.

About the Role:
In this position, you will be working with challenging behaviour and therefore be strong and adaptable with your approach. Supporting pupil progress and development in and outside the classroom.

The school is an ethnically diverse SEMH school in Chigwell. You can easily commute to the school via public transport.
