Remedy Education is currently looking to appoint an experience and outstanding Food Technician at one of our secondary schools in Havering, Essex

The person filling the post will be expected to undertake a wide range of duties including:

• Supporting food technology classes.
• Preparation of teaching materials.
• Maintaining stock.
• Keeping surfaces, cookers, sinks and equipment clean.
• Checking services (gas, electricity and water) and equipment within the classroom is safe.
• Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of staff.

The successful candidate will have:

• Recent experience of working as a Food Technician.
• Experience of stock control.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate work records and maintain inventories.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children requirements.
• An updated CV and a valid DBS
