Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Restorative Programme Lead to work within a Local Authority based in South West London.

Job Purpose

The key objectives of the Youth Offending Service are:

• The prevention and reduction of offending by children and young people. working with high risk repeat offenders to prevent re-offending,
• Promoting and maximising the welfare and the safeguarding of young people that have entered criminal youth justice system to prevent them from re-offending and
• To work restoratively with young people and their victims

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

There are two aspects to this role.

• As the Victim Liaison Officer (VLO) you will be responsible for promoting victim services and increasing victim awareness within the team. Your contact with victims will promote increased victim participation, engagement, satisfaction and contribute to the increased use of restorative justice practices within Kingston and Richmond YOS. You will therefore be working closely with the case officers to achieve this.

• As Referral order lead you will be responsible for, overseeing and running the Referral Order Service. This will include recruiting community volunteers and providing them with support and training, assigning members to panels as required, organising venues and maintaining systems for the efficient organisation of the panels
