Qualifications
- Relevant communications professional qualifications (or working towards)
Experience and Knowledge
- 10 years' experience working with residents in a development or planning related context
- Experience of operating within and promoting a performance management culture
- Knowledge of formal consultation requirements associated with planning and development
- Good knowledge of engagement and communications strategies and approaches to support new development projects
- Working knowledge of latest relevant political environment and best practice (e.g. ballots)
Skills and abilities
- Good people management skills
- Able to lead by example
- Good communications skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and ability to operate with minimal supervision
- Empathic towards residents' concerns, needs and expectations
- Team player
