Job description

Remedy Education is recruiting for a Reception Teacher / EYFS Teacher to join a 'Good' primary school in the London borough of Lewisham. This is a two-form entry catering to pupils aged 3 to 11 years. The school is staffed with a supportive and passionate team of teachers, with an inspiring programme of professional development opportunities on offer. The Reception Teacher / EYFS Teacher is required to start in September for the duration of the 2018/19 academic year, with the potential to be taken on permanently thereafter.

In order to be considered for this Reception Teacher / EYFS Teacher role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Have proven experience teaching in a classroom
  • Have a clear understanding of the UK curriculum and the ability to create an engaging and challenging learning environment
  • Be eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Have exceptional written and spoken English skills
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
