Qualified Social Worker- Substance Misuse with


	A social worker with substance misuse experience is needed in our client's Substance Misuse Team, which is co-located within SLAM Addictions. -The team is made up of two social workers and a Practitioner Manager. The social workers complete social care assessments under the Care Act 2014, for intensive abstinent based i.e. rehab, day programmes and personalised packages (once funding is agreed by the resource panel). Social workers review service users placements which are within or outside of London. Social workers also undertake safeguarding enquiries and work with service users and agencies to formulate a protection plan to support that person. Therefore the candidates must have the above experience for this post. -Social workers use a number of data bases including Mosaic, EPJS, Oracle and usually carry a caseload of 20-25 cases. Social workers are managed by the Practitioner Manager, who is managed by an offsite social worker manager. -Candidates must have a current DBS and be registered with HCPC. -Hours are 9-5 (35 hours)
