Qualified Social Worker - Mental Health

Remedy Recruitment Group are currently working with a local authority based in South London and are seeking an experience qualified social worker with mental health experience to work within a busy social work team.

Salary - £28-£30 per hour

Start - ASAP

Contract - Ongoing

Job Purpose

Experienced social worker in community mental health with knowledge of safeguarding procedures and supporting assessment and implementation of packages of care for hospital discharge.

The successful candidate requires the following:

The ideal candidate will be a social worker with experience of working within Mental Health Services who is committed to the Recovery model and skilled in assessment and care planning. The candidate will be an effective team player who will contribute a clear social care perspective to the expertise within the team. The ideal candidate will be skilled at building effective working relationships with service users, families and carers and working within a framework of collaboration and support to recognise and build on strengths and assets.

Requirements for the social worker:

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current HCPC registration
• Significant frontline experience within adult services
