Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to work within a Multi Agency Support Team (MAST) for a Local Authority based in West London.

Job Purpose

• The MAST team are responsible for services to children in need living in the community, who do not meet the criteria for the Children with Disabilities Team

• The role involves CP and CIN work, PLO and cases up to 1st court hearing as well as LAC work up to 1st reviews.

• The teams will respond to all of the initial child protection referrals.

• Children and young people subject to a child protection plan.
• Children previously looked after who have returned to live with their families and where further work is required to secure their reunification.
• Cases identified following a Child and Family Assessment where there is a need for ongoing family support work and where the threshold for children in need is clearly identified.
