Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within a Leaving Care Team for a Local Authority based in South London.

Job Purpose

• Within this role you will be a member of the Leaving Care Team and contribute within this team to the strategic policy and procedural developments within the division, ensuring effective policy and operational links within Children's Services and Lifelong Learning and other Directorates and Departments within the Council
• To quality assure and review Pathway Plans for Care Leavers with special focus on educational attainment, heath and emotional well being and suitability and usage of the accommodation.
• To ensure that all departmental policies and procedures are adhered to and promoted, which includes, but is not limited to: Child Protection, Looked after Children/ Care Leavers, Equal Opportunities Employment, technology/ ICT, finance, joint working with other departments and outside agencies.

• HCPC registration
• Experience of working in a Childrens Team
• Enhanced DBS
• Full compliance required
