Job description

Qualified Social Worker X2, Adults DoLs, Reviews and Assessments Team, North London, up to £30ph

If you are an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background in DoLs, Reviews and Assessment Teams, we want to hear from you.

Main duties include:

  • Acknowledge and record written requests for authorisations under the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards within the standard timescale and refer them to the Mental Capacity Lead Practitioner Co-Ordinator
  • Administer and process standard forms in relation to the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards as instructed
  • Responsible for ensuring that all pending assessments, authorisations and reviews are carried out in compliance with all statutory timescales prescribed by the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Code of Practice
  • To maintain data quality on the relevant database by running reports, correcting errors, identifying any necessary amendments to the system and undertaking system administration functions as necessary

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Substantial experience in a DoLs, Reviews and Assessment team
