Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within an Adults with Disabilities Team for a Local Authority based in West London.

Job Purpose

• To carry out a range of assessments including assessments of people with learning disabilities and their carers to identify eligible needs and/or risk of harm, as well as for other extended family members. As a result of these assessments to recommend the appropriate action or support to meet the customer's needs
• To carry out risk assessments and undertake work with adults at risk, investigate cases and ensure the welfare of customers cared for by persons other than relatives. This may include carrying out Adult Protection Investigations as well as welfare reports for the Courts and Mental health tribunals
• To prepare and submit court reports, Court of Protection applications and mental health tribunal reports and present them to Court. Court reports can take the form of statements and support plans

About you

• HCPC registered
• Experience within a Disability Team
• Enhanced DBS
