Job description

Qualified Social Worker, Children with Disabilities, Northeast London, up to £30-£32ph Negotiable

If you are an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background of Children with Disabilities, we want to hear from you.

Main duties include:

  • Carry out direct work with children and their families in order to meet their assessed needs, by ensuring the most cost-effective and beneficial care package is established, delivered and monitored
  • Handled CP cases
  • Give evidence in court
  • Writing court reports
  • Conducting assessments and care planning in accordance with government and local guidance for children in need, looked after children, child protection and children leaving care

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Substantial experience within Children Services
