This role will be supporting the local delivery and development of a comprehensive Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Information, Advice and Support Service in line with SEND reforms, the 2014 SEND Code of Practice and the local Children and Young People's Plan.

The role involves informing, supporting and advising young people with SEND, in education, up to the age of 25 and parents/carers of children with a special educational need or disability (SEND) to enable them to take an informed and active part in their child's learning.

The role will be working in partnership with parents/carers and to promote, encourage and facilitate partnership working between parents/carers and schools and other settings, the local authority, voluntary services and other professionals.

Experience or knowledge of SEN school support in line with the children and families act 2014

Knowledge of Education and Health Care Plan process
