Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within an Assessment Team for a Local Authority based in East London.

Job Purpose

You will be required to work with a team of 6 social workers who complete assessments and complete short term intervention. This is a mixed case load of domestic abuse, neglect, sexual abuse and child sexual exploitation.

About you -

1. Good assessment writing skills
2. Skills to engage children and young people in the assessment and ascertain what life is like for them
3. Good skills to work/communicate with hard to engage families
4. Creative thinking skills in relation to activating support resources for children/families
5. Skills to critically reflect on and analyse information and draw informed conclusions from it
6. HCPC registered
