Remedy Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a local authority situated in south london to recruit qualified social workers for their adults team.

As a qualified social worker within the adults team you will:
• Undertake assessments and support individuals to develop personalised care plans that take account of community assets, informal networks, universal services and other support and provision which reduces dependency.
• Work with health and social care colleagues and other partners by engaging in innovative practice and a visionary approach to creating a better environment for users
• Be part of a team that embraces the process of change, participating in effective team working.
• Apply a strengths/asset-based approach to practice, both in terms of individual assessments, care plans and reviews and the culture within the team.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum social worker job is up to £30 per hour.
Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
