Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Qualfied Social Worker (QSW) to work within a Adults with Learning Disabilities Team in a Local Authority in East London.

The role is within the complex area of the Adults Supporting Care Service, which includes the following teams: Access and Information; Enablement; currently a separate Safeguarding Team; Reviews and the Complex Team.

• The ideal Social Worker will have extensive experience of working in a Local Authority setting with older adults, younger adults, adults with learning disabilities/adults with dual diagnosis.
• Must be able to think on your feet as you will be required to work in a busy duty service.
• Good communication skills including written skills (may be required to complete necessary paperwork for the CoP for people with LDs deprived of their liberty within the community.
• Knowledge of the MCA/DoLs/Pan London Safeguarding procedures and ability to apply these to every day practice.
• Must be HCPC registered.
